Editorial Reportage for Impulse Magazine

It’s been a while, but I’m back with an update and some new work! Late last year, the kind people at the TRUMPF Group commissioned me to capture photos for Impulse, their employee magazine. It featured an article on Takefumi Hori of TRUMPF Japan (who you might remember from some of my previous work) and his involvement with the Japan Sea Cadets Fukuoka. The article details how he has volunteered with the cadets every Sunday for the last two years and how much he helps the children. I was happy to travel with him to Fukuoka’s Sea Cadets’ headquarters and spend the day documenting how well they worked together. It was marvellous to see the level of discipline the children had, and the care they took with following instructions and looking out for each other. They were also incredibly friendly, and the time spent with them was wonderful!
